Volunteer Public Relations Manager

MVP Task Force is seeking a passionate and experienced Volunteer Finance Director to play a pivotal role in our mission. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Volunteer Finance Director will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of the organization, ensuring efficient resource allocation, and driving financial strategies to support our anti-trafficking initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Projections: Develop and maintain accurate financial projections based on the organization’s goals, funding sources, and expenditure patterns.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitor and track cash flow ensuring the nonprofit’s financial stability, timely disbursement of funds for operational needs, victim support, and collaborative efforts within the community. Also contribute to the implementation of effective cash management procedures.
  • Financial Planning: Engage in comprehensive financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, to support the organization’s short-term and long-term objectives in collaboration with leadership.
  • Financial Systems and Processes: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems. Contribute to streamlining financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Financial Strengths and Weaknesses Analysis: Conduct regular in-depth analysis of MVP Task Force’s financial strengths and weaknesses, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies and recommendations.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and financial analysis within the non-profit sector.
  • Strong knowledge of global financial regulations, compliance standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess complex financial data and propose strategic solutions.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
